Yesterday in Open Session, the Carroll County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously to establish a Carroll County Small Business COVID-19 Emergency Relief Grant Fund. Please review the press release that was issued announcing this and keep your eyes open for the next press release from Carroll County Economic Development that will contain the specifics of who can apply and how much the grants will be. Considering that the total amount included in this grant is $500,000, and considering the fact that the Carroll County Chamber alone has over 600 members, you will want to act quickly. Interested businesses should watch for information via the Department of Economic Development website at www.carrollbiz.org. We will do our best to keep you informed of when applications can be submitted, but you would be wise to keep a lookout as well.
