MD State Arts Council Emergency Grant Program:
$1 million will be available to county arts agencies; $435,000 to Arts & Entertainment District management entities; $1,565,000 to arts organizations and independent artists. Applications for funding should be made through MSAC’s Smart Simple portal. Applications will open on July 20 and must be submitted by 5:00 pm on August 3, 2020 to be considered for funding. MSBDFA COVID-19 Emergency Relief Loan Fund
Beginning July 20th, the MD Small Business Development Finance Authority will provide emergency financial relief through low interest rates and low documentation loans to eligible Maryland businesses. Five-year term loans ranging from $25,000 to $200,000 will be available with an interest rate of 0% for the first 12 months, and 2% for the remaining term of the loan.
