COVID-19 Grant Program Deadline Extended

Dear small businesses, legislators, economic development partners, and friends –

At the request of Governor Hogan, we are extending our Small Business COVID-19 RELIEF Grant Program application period to Monday, May 24.

This means small businesses now have more time to apply to our program, or reapply if they were denied due to missing documents, until 11:59PM that night.

We want to ensure this news reaches all potential applicants in Maryland. We encourage eligible businesses to apply, and we ask our partners to help us spread the word and send out this information to your contacts and networks.

Please know there is no guarantee for funding as applications will be ranked and reviewed on several factors including funding availability throughout the state’s 24 jurisdictions. Additionally, remember that businesses that primarily sell goods or offer services that require collection of sales & use tax are not eligible for this program. Read more about the requirements.

As always, if you know a business that does not qualify for our program, we encourage them to continue exploring other forms of assistance, such as other state, federal, and county programs, which can be found on our website. If you still have questions, email and we’ll get back to you as quickly as we can.

Thank you,

Kelly M. Schulz
