The Carroll County Chamber of Commerce has nearly 530 members and represents the interests of more than 32,000 public and private sector employees. The Chamber's membership spans a broad spectrum of businesses, government agencies and nonprofit organizations.

The Chamber serves as the voice of its members by:
Providing information on current legislation
Soliciting member views
Expressing those views and concerns to our legislators, and
Providing opportunities for members to meet with legislators

The Legislative Committee is comprised of business, government and nonprofit leaders. Weekly meetings are held during the regular State legislative session. The Committee reviews synopses of proposed House and Senate bill to assess potential impact on our members and our community. Position letters are written to our legislators.
